UTB has released its audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2010, as per the extracts attached.
Final Dividend
UTB has announced a final dividend of
GH¢0.01 (One Ghana Pesewa) per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2010.
Qualifying Date
All shareholders registered in the books of UTB at the close of business on
Thursday, March 24, 2011 will qualify for the final dividend if approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from
Friday, March 25, 2011 to
Tuesday, March 29, 2011,
both dates inclusive.
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as
Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Consequently, an investor purchasing UTB shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying UTB shares on or after Tuesday, March 22, 2011 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend will be paid on Friday,
April 29, 2011.
