3. PR. 080/2011 SCB-FINAL DIVIDEND, CLOSURE OF REGISTER AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Final Dividend
SCB has announced a final dividend of GH¢1.27 per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2010.
Qualifying Date
All shareholders registered in the books of SCB at the close of business on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 will qualify for the final dividend of GH¢1.27 per share if approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Thursday, April 21, 2011 to Tuesday, April 26, 2011, both dates inclusive.
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Monday, April 18, 2011. Consequently, an investor purchasing SCB shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying SCB shares on or after Monday, April 18, 2010 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend payment date
The final dividend of GH¢1.27 per share will be paid on Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
Annual General Meeting
The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at National Theatre at 11 am.
