3. MLC-DIVIDEND, CLOSURE OF REGISTER AND AGM NOTICE Dividend
MLC has announced a Final Dividend of GH¢0.0045 per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2009.
Qualifying date
All shareholders registered in the books of MLC at the close of business on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 will qualify for the dividend of GH¢0.0045 per share which would be approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Wednesday, June 23, 2010 to Friday, June 25, 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
The ex-dividend date has been set as Friday, June 18, 2010. Consequently, an investor purchasing MLC shares before this date will be entitled to the dividend. However, an investor buying MLC shares on or after Friday, June 18, 2010 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend of GH¢0.0045 per share will be paid on Friday, July 30, 2010.
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Accra Internal Conference Center at 11.00am.
