ETI has added 401,259,881 ordinary shares to their issued shares. This was as a result of the issuance and allotment of same to former minority shareholders of Ecobank Nigeria under a share swap.

The share swap arrangement was part of the process by which Ecobank Nigeria and the former Oceanic Bank were merged into a single legal entity and the delisting of Ecobank Nigeria from the Nigeria Stock Exchange.
