2. AGA-INTERIM DIVIDEND AND CLOSURE OF REGISTER Interim Dividend
AGA has announced an Interim Dividend of 65 South African cents per share for the 2010 financial year.
The amount above would be converted on August 26, 2010, which would be communicated to the investing public.
Qualifying date
All shareholders registered in the books of AGA at the close of business on Friday, September 3, 2010 will qualify for the interim dividend.
Closure of Register (Record Date)
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Monday, September 6, 2010 to Wednesday, September 8, 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Consequently, an investor purchasing AGA shares before this date will be entitled to the interim dividend. However, an investor buying AGA shares on or after September 1, 2010 will not be entitled to the interim dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The interim dividend will be paid on Monday, September 13, 2010.
