GOIL announces that the Board of Directors of the company has appointed Mr. Patrick Akpe Kwame Akorli as the Managing Director of the company effective June 1, 2012.

Until his appointment, Mr. Akorli was the Finance Manager of the company. He joined the company in 1994 and has served in various positions including acting Chief Accountant, Treasurer, Chief Internal Auditor and on occasion, acted as the Fuels Marketing Manager.

Mr. Akorli is a Chartered Accountant by profession and also holds an Executive Masters degree in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

EBG announces the appointment of Mr. Terence Ronald Darko as a Director of the bank effective 26th April, 2012. His appointment was ratified at the last Annual General Meeting of the bank held on 27th April, 2012.

Mr. Darko has been the Managing Director of Mechanical Lloyd Company Limited from January 1978 to date. He is a Business Executive and holds BA Business Studies from the University of London.
